The ooBug is a low cost, efficient development system to evaluate the features and performance of Microchip's new PIC24 Microcontroller families.

The ooBug ships with an interactive demonstration program preloaded on the onboard PIC24FJ64GA004 device. Several program functions are selectable via a voice menu system. These include: temperature and voltage measurements, Line following and Object avoidance using Ir Sensors and DC Motor control, Light seeking/escape, sine wave signal and DTMF tone generation, I2C EEPROM read/write, two color LED color blending, ooBug to ooBug communication via IrDA® and more.
